Today’s lunch break
Well I decided to catch up on Penelope Trunk’s Brazen Careerist blog. I love her blog. Her writing is humorous and witty. I only had time to read one of her posts before lunch so I printed 3 more (Twentysomething: 7 reasons why my generation is more productive than yours, 3 Ways work will change when Gen Y is in charge, & How to Find Meaningful Work) to take with me and read read while out.
Yesterday I read an interview on Creating Gen-Y Magic that I liked very much & decided to re-read it. I then proceeded to print it out to also take with me.
The weather today was awesome outside, so naturally I thought of a place to eat that has a patio. I went, ordered two soft shredded chicken tacos & a tea; chips and salsa on the house. It was nice I shared the patio with one other person. Everyone else was inside. I think people felt it was too cold to sit outside.
I enjoyed reading the blog posts I enjoyed that moment of Me time.
Simple, calm, & relaxing times.

I stumbled upon Penelope Trunk’s blog as well recently and I will definetely head back for more.
Ironically, as I posted about my GenY nanny issue, my current nanny called today at 7:30 to tell me that she needed to leave by 2pm. On Wed, she wanted to know if I could just swap one of my work days for her cause she was nauseous. I’m seriously ready to scream.
